Karl Wiegers started his own software development consulting and training company, Process Impact, in 1997. He has written 13 books on software development, product design, and consulting (including the most popular book on software requirements), as well as a forensic mystery novel. He's now retired. He and his wife, Chris Zambito, have lived in Portland, Oregon, since 2000. Chris enjoys the beautiful Pacific Northwest and getting together with friends. She spends most of her time reading. ​ His website is worth a visit .

Dr. Tommie Royster, founder and CEO of R-Display and Lighting, has been selected as the  2023 Entrepreneur of the Year  by the Rochester Section of the American Chemical Society.
